Arts Education Month

Youth Art Month encourages support for quality school art programs and promotes art material safety.

Arts education month. NAHM was launched by Americans for the Arts more than 30 years ago as National Arts Week in honor of the twentieth anniversary of the National Endowment for the Arts. This measure would proclaim March 2021 as Arts Education Month and would encourage all educational communities to celebrate the arts with meaningful pupil activities and programs that demonstrate learning and understanding in the visual and performing arts. Arts Education Partnership is a national coalition of arts education business philanthropic and government organizations that demonstrates and promotes the essential role of the arts in the learning and development of every child and in the improvement of Americas schools.

Arts in Education Month Ohio Department of Education Were celebrating Arts in Education Month and shining a spotlight on the talented and skilled creators producers and performers in Ohios schools. The Council for Art Education CFAE administers the program at the national level. Each issue features an editorial six articles and instructional resources making Art Education a significant addition to every educators reference.

The focus of the proclamation is The Creative Advantage program a multi-year effort between the City and Seattle Public Schools. The program is reinvesting in the future of Seattles students by addressing issues of inequity. The opportunity is NOW to grow arts education.

During this week the field of arts education joins together in communities across the country to tell the story of the impact of the transformative power of the arts in education. Resolved by the Senate of the State of California the Assembly thereof concurring That the Legislature proclaims the month of March 2019 as Arts Education Month and urges all residents to become interested in and give full support to quality school arts. Applauding the dedication of arts educators and education advocates Mayor Murray today proclaimed May 2014 to be Arts Education Month.
